The SCA Group offers an alternative to the more traditional tube and fitting scaffolding through its Modular Access Division. Our customers are unfamiliar at first with the flexibility of system scaffolding having themselves become accustomed to the older, more traditional methods over the years. In the first instance, there is a certain amount of reluctance to change. Their perceptions can also be warped by experiences of other contractors using a mix of tube and fitting and system scaffolding and encountering problems like overlapping boards, gaps etc.

However, once the client sees the system in action, they are pleasantly surprised and a correctly designed, planned and erected system scaffold can save a great deal of time and money in the long run.

The SCA Group utilises the Oktolok system provided by Advanced Scaffold Products Limited. The Oktolok system is a universal and versatile modular scaffold suitable for all scaffolding applications from birdcages to hanging scaffolds to stair towers. It can be widely adapted to incorporate more complicated shapes including curves, inclines and circles. It is specifically designed for UK scaffolding practice and utilises standard scaffold boards.
